The way in which the establishment is connected to the Internet network can also explain quality differentials.
To ensure an optimal connection, please check that no bandwidth-hungry programs are active. This applies in particular to peer-to-peer software for downloading files (e.g. BitTorrent, µTorrent...).
Shutting down these programs may help optimize your connection.
- If no program seems to be responsible for your connection's slowness, we invite you to perform the following tests: test the connection with different devices (smartphone, computer, tablet...), if possible, to check that your device is not to blame.
- If this is not the case, estimate the connection speed from your equipment, in just a few clicks, by visiting http://www.speedtest.net/fr or directly from the application, then record your downstream (or download/receive) and upstream (or upload/send) speeds.
