Prorata Temporis payment: what does it mean?

The term "prorata temporis" means that payment is calculated according to the actual length of time you use the service.
In other words, if you subscribe to the service during the month, you will only pay for the remaining period, not for the whole month. For example, if your Internet subscription starts on the 15th of the month, you will only pay for the remaining days until the end of the month, and not for the whole month.
However, for all purchases made between the 20th and the end of the month, the prorated amount for the current month will be added to next month's bill. For example, if you make a purchase on the 21st of the month, you will pay the prorated amount for the current month plus the following month.
This enables fairer and more accurate billing, particularly when activating or cancelling a service during the month.
